Better Hearing & Speech Month

Your hearing is an integral part of your health and allows you to live a life full of wonderful sounds. Because hearing health is so important, every May the American Speech-Language Hearing Association raises awareness about hearing and communication by celebrating Better Hearing and Speech Month (BHSM).

What’s the Theme for 2022?

The theme of Better Hearing and Speech Month changes every year. This year the theme is, “Connecting People.” Hearing and communication are both important ways we experience the world and connect with people. Whether you are talking to coworkers, laughing with friends, or connecting with family, your hearing plays a crucial role.

How You Can Celebrate BHSM

1. Visit Us for an Appointment: One of the best ways to participate in Better Hearing and Speech Month is by coming into our office for an appointment.
